Under Construction (and a rebirth of sorts)
Hello friends! Friends? Are you there? =) I'm in the process of returning to the world of blogging, after a 1 1/2 year "hiaitus," and I couldn't be happier about it. Many things have happened in that time, including a big move back to the US from England. We're now living in Washington, DC and the kids are in school FULL TIME, so it's time for me to get back to doing something that's all mine.
While I have been thinking about this forever (it seems), it's only in the last week that I really committed myself to making WWS? (and by extension, myself) a priority again. I happened upon two fantastic blogs, in one of those internets-only shots of serendipity; I was reading this post, then clicked on over to Heather at OMSH, which led to Sarah of Whoorl. Wow...these mamas are amazing, and they've inspired me to want to be amazing again, too. Not in the fake-ass, school gate, all "look at me i'm perfect, my husband/kids/car/house/blog is perfect" kind of way, but in the way that these rad moms are doing it...imperfectly perfect. For the first time in a very long time, I'm ready to give it a shot again, and that makes me feel pretty good. Thank you Asha, Heather, and Sarah!
So, I'm doing a general freshening up, and making plans to expand the horizons of WWS? to include just a little bit more than food and photography. I'm hoping to explore and share a lot more, and I think it's going to be a lot of fun. Here's to second chances!
In the meantime, please head over to one of the best people/writers/cooks/food bloggers ever...the ever-lovely and talented Jeanne of Cook Sister!. She is an award-winning South African writer living and working in London, kicks some serious ass in the kitchen, and she updates her blog ALL the time...sheesh! Awww, just go find out for yourself.

I'm here Moira! I'm here and listening! This is great news, get moving! And I still have that Zanzibar chocolate in my cupboard, defending it from the attacks of my son! But I think I will send you a fresh one for Christmas instead!

WOO HOO!!!! She's baaaaaack! After 18 months of occasional hopeful clicking on WWS to find only the final Broke Mac Mountain post, the day has finally arrived that you've returned! Thrilled to have you back and I'm sure that you will have renewed energy and a different focus after your hiatus. I can hardly wait for you to start :)

I've kept you on my bookmarks link since I stumbled upon your interview with Tessa, and discovered I was about a year too late! I wondered what had happened; you write so well I had hoped you would do, well, something like this!
